EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER & HOUSE MANAGER / COUPLES

Employment Status: full or part-time

• Executive Housekeepers and House Managers are responsible for the smooth running of large homes.
• Duties can include:  supervision of regular cleaners, pool maintenance, gardening, organising window cleaners, pest maintenance, light house duties, dusting, cleaning silver, cleaning white goods, washing & ironing, changing beds, flowers; shopping, meal preparation and cooking, organising caterers for functions. Duties may also include supervision of tradesmen during renovation including selection, quotes etc. and purchase of new furniture.
• Couples: Usually one person is responsible for inside care of the house as above and the other person looks after the outside of the house: maintains employers vehicles, general maintenance, gardening, pool, tennis court etc.  Provides security when employers are absent from the residence.

HOUSEKEEPER -  LIVE-IN OR LIVE-OUT

Employment Status: Full-time or part-time

Housekeepers are responsible for day-to-day house maintenance. Duties may include all or any of the following services:

• Dusting & polishing
• Special care of antiques and furnishings
• Washing & ironing
• Changing beds (washing & drying linen for the next change)
• Cleaning fridge, oven & microwave
• Tidying cupboards
• Polishing silver & brassware
• Shopping
• Food preparation and cooking

DAILY HOUSEKEEPERS

Employment Status: Casual

Dailies work 1 or 2 days (or part of days) per week.  Hours and days can be changed to suit both employer & employee.  Duties can include any of the following:

• Dusting & polishing, special care of antiques and furnishings
• Washing & ironing
• Changing beds (washing & drying linen for the next change)
• Cleaning fridge, oven & microwave
• Tidying cupboards
• Polishing silver & brassware

SPRING CLEAN

Employment Status: Casual

Duties include; attention to detail; all cleaning; dusting; vacuuming; cleaning window sills; architraves; and skirting boards.

MOVING IN / OUT CLEANS

Employment Status: Casual

• Moving in or moving out cleans. Premises have usually been vacated.
• All floors, bathroom & kitchen, attention to floors, window sills, architraves, skirting boards, cleaning of inside of cupboards in bathroom, kitchen, bedrooms & linen press.
• Does not include washing walls or windows.

PARTY HELP

Employment Status: casual

• Warming food and laying out on platters & serving; setting up cold food on platters
• Waitressing & drink waiters
• Cleaning up and washing up afterwards
